Representative Tenney visits Travertine’s Demonstration Plant to Talk Sulfur
United States House of Representatives
Yesterday, Congresswoman Tenney visited Travertine’s sulfuric acid demonstration site in upstate NY to understand how the company is reducing foreign dependence on sulfur. Decoupling sulfuric acid production from Middle East oil & gas sulfur supply is now a strategic priority for the United States. Travertine uses their electrochemical platform to recycle sulfate salts into sulfuric acid, providing price stability and security of supply for America’s critical minerals production.
