Travertine, a Direct Air Capture (DAC) supplier, has selected Isometric as the registry for its first commercial plant, which is expected to remove over 10,000 tonnes of carbon between 2028 and 2030. The Travertine process upcycles industrial sulfate waste into valuable products like sulfuric acid and green hydrogen while removing and permanently storing carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere through mineralization. Isometric will issue carbon credits based on its DAC Protocol, which is approved by the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), using its Certify platform for verification.
