Travertine and Arianne are developing a 4 kTa purified phosphoric acid (PPA) plant using Travertine’s core process and purified phosphoric acid technologies and Arianne’s phosphate rock supply. The PPA will be marketed and sold to North American customers in the energy storage, fertilizer, and chemicals industries. The calcium carbonate co-product will be sold to a major cement producer for use in low carbon cement and ready-mix concrete production along their St Lawrence Seaway distribution network.
